Explore the islands by chartering a boat, or you can sign up for snorkel day tours of the various islands.  For serious divers, the RMS Rhone which sank in 1867 is a great draw, but if you’re not certified yet, this is a wonderful place to learn to scuba because the water is so clear offering great visibility.

The Sage Mountain National Park on Tortola is  a favorite with hikers and those looking to enjoy the views of surrounding islands.  You can enjoy a horseback ride through this national park, or across the beaches.  The Baths at Virgin Gorda are also a very popular place to visit. A maze of caves and grottoes filled with saltwater, visitors can swim, snorkel and explore at their leisure.

Of  the lesser known islands, Guana Island, offers nature trails and very secluded beaches, but if it is nightlife and shopping that you seek, then Tortola and Virgin Gorda are the choice for you.
