The French Riviera or Cote d'Azur as it is also known stretches along the Mediterranean from St Tropez to Nice.

It boasts over 300 days of sunshine a years and is famous for its high class resorts and designer boutiques and art scene.

The French Riviera has a heritage of baroque culture and boasts more than 80 monuments, churches, chapels and palaces.

Nice is the shopping capital of the French Riviera. Nice’s palm tree-lined Promenade des Anglais is a good place to start exploring heading for the winding streets of the Old Town overlooked by Le Chateau Hill and its surrounding park. Try the market in Old Town’s Cours Saleya Market or if you are into fashion, try Galeries La Fayette, the Nice Etoile mall, or the maze of boutiques west of Place Massena.

Cannes is one of the most elite and luxurious areas in Europe with stunning curvaceous sandy beaches and an expanding port. La Croisette is home to luxury cruise boats with hotels and fantastic restaurants and designer boutiques flanking the glitzy promenade. Although famous for its film festival in May, the city is rarely not hosting a festival or season. In January the city turns into a place of young, fun and talented music professionals for the MIDEM, the conference for the music business.


Bagnols sur Ceze This rustic two bedroom villa sits in the vast and exclusive grounds of a genuine French Chateau, where Provencal wine is still produced. Surrounded by rolling hills and vinyards, there is lots of space including the wooded gardens. Sleeps four.	Aix This delightful villa enjoys wonderful views over the historic town of Aix en Provence. It has three bedrooms and sleeps six. The driveway with its tall pines and lush bushes leads to a lovely character house, with a modern interior and character bedrooms with wooden beams.	Aix This impressive and modern villa sits within two acres of grounds, and offers great privacy. The interior is modern, bright and well appointed throughout, with an open plan staircase leading to the upper floor. Just outside is a covered barbeque and within the vast lawned gardens sits a large roman style pool. It has five bedrooms and can sleep ten.

Draguignan Situated in vast private grounds, at the end of a long private drive, this newly renovated three bedroom, three bathroom house is spacious, with a large freeform pool, expansive gardens and wooded areas, with a shaded exterior dining area and a terrace garden.	St Laurent des Arbres This charming one bedroom self contained property is set within the grounds of a house and is surrounded by a large wall to gain privacy. On one side you have the impressive house, and on the other, vineyards and a marvellous view of the local village. The exterior has its own sun terrace and circular pool. It sleeps two people.	St Laurent des Arbres This vast and imposing house commands a fantastic location, with views of the Lirac vineyards. The large circular pool features a jacuzzi section and a wonderful brick built barbeque sits in the corner of the garden. The majestic tree lined gravel driveway leads you to tall iron gates and is surrounded by manicured lawns, trees and bushes. It has eight bedrooms, six bathrooms and can sleep 17.
